“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. “Those were the words recorded by John, spoken by our Lord Jesus hours before his death, His disciples did not truly understand it, but soon they would see the truth in the symbolism He gave of at this moment. Breaking the bread and giving the drink they all dined while Jesus spoke Words like “be aware of hypocrisy,” “be strong in weakness,” “don’t be troubled about the end,” “ love one another,” “asking anything in his Name, “ “remember all these things..” The Bread, the Wine, the Message, the Example, the Truth, the Life. His whole life was meant for this time. To prove to all creation that He was the Redeemer of man. The Supreme Sacrifice. The shed blood for the remission of all sin.
“Oh how deep the Father’s love for us…..that He would give His only Son…..and make a wretch His treasure. “Partake of His body,” “drink of His suffering” and enter into His Life.”
